The Regain Cycling Challenge is back for 2024 and once again open to all Scout groups across the UK. This is a great opportunity for your Scouts to get their Disability Awareness, Cycling Activity and Fundraising Activity badges, whilst having a great experience.
Why should your Scout Group take part in the Regain Cycling Challenge 2024?
Regain is the only charity dedicated to improving the independence of all British men and women who have become tetraplegic (paralysed) through a sports injury. The Regain Cycling challenge is a great opportunity for your Scout group to take part in an exciting challenge and to earn their disability awareness, cycling activity and fundraising badges. In year one of this exciting challenge, we had three Scouts groups and over 75 Scouts take part and they all had an amazing time!
6th Gosport Scout Group had the most amazing day at Thruxton taking part in the Regain cycling challenge. The young people loved it, and were incredible at pushing themselves to complete as many laps as they could!
The organisation and value for money was brilliant, we will definitely be signing up again.

We have two Scouts options available for the Regain Cycling Challenge 2024:
Friday and Saturday (£30 per Scout)
- Camping on the Friday night
- Breakfast on Saturday morning
- Entry into the cycling challenge
- Snacks and water whilst cycling
- Fully supported event with mechanics and first aid
- Packed lunch
- Inspirational talk from a Regain Beneficiary
- Bike Maintenance Talk
- A Medal
Saturday Only (£20 per Scout)

In addition to the costs above, we ask each Scout Group to fundraise as much as they can for Regain, to help us support more sports tetraplegics.
New for 2024
- Top fundraising award for the Scout group that raises the most money for Regain.
- Cycling award for the Scout group that cycles the most laps collectively.
- Design the Regain Cycling Challenge Scout badge competition. The winning design will be produced as a Scout badge and presented to every Scout that takes part.
