Cyclists of all ages and abilities gathered at the iconic Thruxton Motor Racing Circuit on 28th June 2025 for the third annual Regain Sports Charity Cycling Challenge—an inclusive, all-ability event in support of people with tetraplegia. Despite searing heat and a relentless headwind on the climb, riders showed incredible determination, with many pushing themselves far beyond their targets. But it wasn’t just the athletic efforts that stood out—it was the camaraderie and community spirit that made the day truly special. Over 200 participants took part. From seasoned athletes to new cyclists, Paralympic athletes, children and scouts. One of the most remarkable moments came from 11-year-old Harry Peksa, who completed an extraordinary 42 laps (100 miles) earning him the coveted Platinum Challenge medal. An outstanding achievement at any age. Thanks to everyone’s hard work and generosity, the event has raised nearly £16,000.
We are now looking ahead to 2026—and you’re invited! The Regain Cycling Challenge will return to Thruxton next summer, and Regain is already planning to make it bigger and better than ever.
