Following the incredible success of our 2024 Gala Dinner, we’re delighted to announce that the Regain Gala Dinner 2025 will take place on Thursday, 16 October 2025, at The Peninsula London Hotel!
We can’t wait to welcome you back for another spectacular evening in 2025.
Join Lord Ivar Mountbatten and the trustees of Regain for an evening of fine dining and fundraising at the prestigious Peninsula Hotel in London.
Guests will enjoy a champagne reception, three course meal and inspiring speeches, highlighting the importance of Regain, the only charity in the UK dedicated to supporting tetraplegics.

Due to the phenomenal success of last year’s Gala Dinner, we were able to support many tetraplegics. We have given over £100,000 in grants. Here are just a few examples.
Luke’s story

Luke suffered a serious life-changing injury whilst taking part in the Isle of Wight Rugby Sevens tournament in Ryde. He suffered a broken neck, also suffering spinal cord damage, leaving him paralysed from the chest down and without the use of his hands.
Thanks to the generosity of our guests at last year’s Gala Dinner, we were able to help Luke’s family adapt their home, so Luke could be reunited with them, which was a huge step forward in his recovery.
“The Orton family would like to thank everyone that has made this possible, it really will change our lives and we will be forever grateful. Thank you”.

Rosey‘s story

We were also able to support Rosey who was just 19 years old when she broke her neck in a horse-riding accident. Rosey was thrown from a horse that subsequently slipped and fell onto her, breaking her neck. Rosey suffered irrevocable damage to her C5 spinal cord which required an emergency lifesaving vertebrae rebuild whilst she was in a coma, then subsequently undergoing a tracheostomy.
Thanks to last year’s Gala Dinner, we were able to help fund an electric add on for Rosey, which will enable her to lead a much more independent life.
“How super amazingly wonderful, this news has made all of our days and just so utterly grateful to you all. The TriRide will give Rosey a lot more independence, so thank you very much”.
Julia, Rosey and Family
Mick‘s story

We were also able to support Mick, who during a trip to Costa Rica suffered a catastrophic accident that left him tetraplegic. He was walking back to the shore, when he got knocked over by a wave, which rolled and crashed him into the bank. Mick spent a year in hospital before he was able to come home and he lost 25kg of muscle, as well as his independence. Thanks to the generosity of everyone last year, we were able to help fund an outdoor wheelchair, which will enable Mick to get back to the great outdoors, the place he loves most.
“Wow! We cannot thank you and everyone at the Gala Dinner enough. Dad’s emotional and I’m close behind. Regain you are fantastic, well done to everyone.”
Mick and Sarah
