Join Team Regain for an exciting four-day cycle ride from London to Paris. Cycle through rolling English countryside and the breathtaking panorama of Northern France to a spectacular finish at the Eiffel Tower. En-route we’ll visit some poignant World War II landmarks.
There will be a huge amount of fun and friendship along the way as cyclists of all abilities, including tetraplegic hand cyclists, take up this special challenge.
The London to Paris Bike Ride is a real challenge. It entails four consecutive days of cycling covering approximately 270 miles and you can expect to be in the saddle for 7-9 hours each day. When training for this event you are advised to set yourself a target of achieving 12-13 miles per hour.
You will cycle in groups of 8-10 people, which will include a cycle guide and one of our incredible beneficiaries. This is a team cycling event and as well as completing your own personal challenge, you’ll need to dig deep and support your fellow cyclists.
All funds raised will support Regain, the only charity dedicated to improving the lives of people with tetraplegia.

What does it cost?
To take part in the Regain London to Paris rise you are required to pay a registration fee and to fundraise as much as you can for Regain. Please note, if you’re a tetraplegic hand cyclist, your place will not be confirmed until you’ve spoken to our team.

Conditions of Entry
- A registration fee of £149 (non-refundable) is required to participate in the London to Paris Bike Ride. In addition you must raise a minimum of £1,900 in sponsorship money and donations for Regain, which must be paid in by Wednesday 30th July 2025. Of the monies raised approximately £1,000 (subject to group size) will be used to cover your tour costs including ferry crossings and Eurostar, accommodation, food (unless specified otherwise) transfers, bike transportation, guides, medical and back-up support.
- If you are unable to raise the minimum sponsorship required you will forfeit your right to a place on the event or you may choose to make up the balance yourself.
- If you do not take up your place for any reason, you must inform Regain immediately. You must contact all your sponsors to ask if they wish to make a donation or have their sponsorship money returned.
- The good reputation of the charity is paramount. You must agree to act lawfully and follow the fundraising guidelines laid out by the organisers of the event.
- You must be at least 18 years of age before Wednesday 10th September 2025, unless agreed otherwise with the charity.
- You must be covered by full travel insurance for health, accident, loss and repatriation during the event. You will need to provide proof of travel insurance 4 weeks before departure or you may forfeit your place on the challenge.
- All those who take part in the London to Paris Bike Ride do so at their own risk. The challenge is being arranged by the charity and Andy Cook Cycling Ltd. In making these arrangements the charity and Andy Cook Cycling are acting as your agents and are unable to accept liability for any loss or damage, however arising, or for cancellation of the event for any reasons outside their control.
- If you are refused passage and/or entry/exit to or from France any additional costs incurred are your responsibility.
- If you withdraw from the event in circumstances where recovery of cancellation charges is indemnified under travel insurance, you hereby agree that you will co-operate in the recovery of these charges from the insurers and any sums recovered under the policy will be paid to the charity. If the insurance company does not recognise your claim, you will be responsible for any cancellation charges levied on the charity.
- Itineraries schedules and accommodation may change and other alterations may occur which are beyond the control of Regain and Andy Cook Cycling.
- We may, at our discretion, withdraw places on the London to Paris Bike Ride if we believe it is in the best interest of the charity to do so.
- Your passport must have at least six months to run from the date you return to the UK. 13. It is a requirement that you must wear a cycle helmet at all times whilst cycling on this challenge. 14. You will be responsible for providing your own cycle and personal equipment.
