The Mount Everest Base Camp Trek 2020

Reach dizzy heights with staggering panoramas on this literally breath-taking trek to the world-famous Mount Everest Base Camp.

This tough but enchanting trek takes you from the mountain town of Lukla, up through rhododendron and fir forests, across streams and creaking glaciers. Along the way, you’ll pass peaceful monasteries, shrines and prayer wheels.

Reaching staggering heights with stunning mountain panoramas, you’re accompanied all the way by a group of fabulous new friends, the Dream Challenges team and two doctors. Not only will you trek higher than most people will ever get a chance to do; you’ll also get an amazing insight into the Sherpa culture.

The Mount Everest Base Camp Trek 2020 is organised by the fantastic specialist events company, Dream Challenges, who we’ve been working with for years and who are renowned for the brilliant support they give on their challenges, from the moment you sign up until the weeks after the event.

The bucket-list trek brings together people from all walks of life, willing to conquer a mighty feat for the charities closest to their heart and we would love for you to trek for Regain.

As an Open Dream Challenge, there are two ways in which you can fund your adventure:

  • Sponsorship – You can commit to raising the minimum sponsorship target for Regain and we would use some of this money to cover your challenge costs. The rest of the money (at least 50%) would then go directly towards our work supporting sports tetraplegics across the UK.

  • Self fund – You are also welcome to self fund and pay the challenge costs yourself. We would then just ask you to raise as much as you can for Regain and/or make a personal donation, 100% of which would go directly towards our work.
